Nadia is a visual artist and producer/filmmaker inspired by people who are passionate about causes such as environmentalists, new generation feminists, LGBTQIA+ activists and whoever fights for equality, justice and accessibility.
She uses symbolism and surrealism while taking an erotic/sci-fi with cyberpunk+retro aesthetic approach on one hand and the human condition in relation to the natural interconnections of everything/everyone with everything/everyone.
She exhibits her work in various spaces and festivals such as Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Durden and Ray Gallery in Los Angeles.
To date, she has created a number of art videos, dance videos in collaboration with choreographers, in addition to music videos and short films. She works and supports other visual projects as a producer, director, editor and art director.
She is now working on producing her first feature film Maid Mother Crone with the Earthing Productions Ltd. a company owned by Nadia Dermatopoulou, Rebecca Palmer and Morag Mckinnon.
